Video File Player
Posted: Sat Oct 23, 2010 11:54 amIn this example you can open a video file or stream and play it in a window. Additional controls have been added for Start, Play/Pause, step (Frame Advance), Stop etc.
Firstly you need to press Open to choose a video file. Video files can be AVI's, MOV's MPEGS etc.etc. basically any video file as long as you have the codec installed on your Windows system.
Also note that the video stream can come from a network source like an IP CCTV camera, you just need to specify the network path (URL)and file name instead of using the open file dialogue to set the 'Source' of the Video Stream component. eg. http://192.168.0.1/camera1/video.mpg
