CPU “SSE” Error messages

Postby tiffy » Mon Jan 08, 2018 1:09 pm

It's strange, occasionally when I click on a *.fsm file to open it in Flowstone 3.0.8, I get an error message stating that the schematic can only be opened on a PC with a CPU that is capable of handling "SSE" instructions. Those schematics which occasionally does not open as described above is those I downloaded from DSP Robotics Forum - as far as I know, it never happened with any schematic which I have made myself.

However, this is basically still a brand new desktop computer with onboard Intel Chipset and Intel CPU (6th generation) capable of handling “SSE” instructions, with Operating System Windows 10 professional which is updated regularly.

That schematic was saved with a newer beta version of FS!
It's just a buggy error message...

I'm working on a tool to see in which Version the FSM was saved and another to show the actual IDE Version on screen.
With a menu to start different Versions incl. beta ones and even automatically set the correct file association...
But had no time to finish it... Hope i find some time for it soon:
