I’m currently working on a project which can create waves but can also extract harmonic series from sound clips, using an adjustable grain player for the source.

The series can then be edited as needed to trim the results. It’s working, but of course the results depend on getting good sound clips (not single waveforms) of what you want to reproduce. The idea is to provide waveforms for cross-fade morphing wavetable synths, and it will save waveforms as txt or Wav.

It will also feature a wave-draw system with a bi-directional adjustable smoothing filter which is also working.

So… watch this space!

Cheers

Hi djbrynte, if you are trying to do leads with vocal, maybe the better option will be use a sampler. The waveform for basses in melbourne bounce normally is a kick resampled, but you can also do it with a sawtooth and some effects like EQ.
