Undo and automation.

Postby lalalandsynth » Wed Oct 10, 2018 8:16 am

Is it possible to have a parameter un-doable without it showing up in the Automation parameters ?
I am using the Advanced envelope and in order to have it undoable it needs to show up in the automation parameters and its 64 parameters , completely redundant and bloats the automation list.

Is this possible somehow , is there something I am overlooking ?

I don’t think it’s possible, in Reaper anyway. I believe you can hide the individual array parameters though in Reaper.

I would expect any solution would be in the DAW rather than FlowStone.

Cheers

But a lot of plugins do this though , like in this example where I might have 64 points in an envelope, I dont want all these 64 points to show up in the automation list , no need to automate them in any event and they bloat the list.

Interesting.

Just a thought... Have you tried un-ticking "Auto" in the preset parameter module?

Cheers

I will have to test it but I seem to recollect that if I set auto to False then it is not undoable.
