Bump to Martin

Hey Martin -

I'd asked this in the Randy updates thread - What I'm getting with this new Spectral Tilt is the volume now increasing when moved off midpoint - can we split the difference to maintain constant level? The new one sends the synth into clipping very readily.

Any thoughts?

The problem is: the normalization depends on the spectral distribution of the material. You can adjust it for one case but it will be off for another. I should probably make it configurable. Here is a version with possibly better normalization.

Yeah, I suspected that (or something similar) might be the case; curious to give this version a go - thanks again.

Yes I also think a tilt filter that let's you choose the center frequency, and tilt +- x db each octave heading out from that frequency would be most ideal. One could then make their own normalization algos to compensate based on their tilting for that specific task.

:D Symmetrical spectral madness.
