Phidgets Encoder High Speed 1057
Posted: Thu Nov 17, 2011 12:30 amIn this example we show how to interface to the Phidgets Encoder. Usually the encoder will be a quadrature shaft encoder with so many 'ticks' per revolution. The Phidgets Encoder counts these ticks and also measures the time between them therefore it is possible to determine not only a precise shaft position but and it's speed in RPM.
