GUI on a DSP question

Postby lukeis2k20 » Sun Nov 02, 2014 5:16 pm

is there a way to show / hide parts of the GUI in FlowStone?

i want to make a big and complicated synth but i dont want to have all the controls showing at the same time, i want to be able to show them when they are needed and hide them when they are not.

is there any way to do this? does anyone have an example of this?

Here, I have made a tutorial that hopefully will make GUI drawing more clear to you. It also has an example which should be relevant to you.

thank you. will take a look.

the basic GUI drawing is easy enough, it is just the show / hide thing that is bothering me.

thanks again!

Nice examples KG !

always appreciate ... even if it is a technique I've used, its educational to see different solutions.
