KFLOP

Hello!

Exciting to see such a forward thinking product like Flowstone! Incredible

I have a six axis industrial 6' tall robotic arm. The old OS was huge. Rackmount huge.
Looking into the best way to control this unit I has found your great visual software.

Is it possible to somehow use your software to control this unique motion board?

They seem to have software but it is nothing like your intuitive design.

Hoping it might be possible for you to look into running this unit as a lot of people own them but are limited to software like mach3 to control them.

Please let me know what your thoughts on this may be.

Thanks again for such a great product!

As far as I've read it, it uses a standard VCP Driver from FTDI. So you could open a connection from FlowStone to the board using the COM-Port Primitive with a Baud-Rate of 9600 and default Parity/Stop bit configuration. When you send "Version" + New line, the board should answer. The interface is in plain text, and all commands are listed there:

This is the .dll that Mach3 uses to interface if that is of any help. Thanks for your quick reply! :D

The Kflop board does control 8 motors of many types with encoder feedback. I/O's as well. It sure would be cool if it was supported with a graphic like the Phidgets interfaces!
