And again FS is still the most intuitive VPL in the market.

OW was un-intuitive a decade ago & is still un-intuitive.

Shame on OW for not supplying GNU licenses or at least a preamble , naughty.

Hi, there's another great option - a HiAsm project: http://www.hiasm.com
https://web.archive.org/web/20181229210 ... hiasm.com/
Not accessible for a moment, don't know the reason, but forum www.forum.hiasm.com is working. Anyway, it can be downloaded from there for free too.
I use it for years.
It is more like a visual IDE, which can output and compile programs for many platforms.
The key difference from FS (and drawback) is that it has no constant compilation of code "on the fly" as it happens in FS. So to hear/see the results you should first compile your app and then run it.
It has high level bulding blocks, primitives, and a code primitive which allows you to include native Asm, Delphi Pascal, Visual Basuc, Java Script, etc. code into your visual project.

Hi, that was me above - just forgot my old login)
Hiasm is back online and it has even online IDE which can be used to create schematics to build it later at home:
