Hello Everyone I am Cody Oebel

Postby CodyOebel » Mon Sep 07, 2015 6:49 pm

I just wanted to introduce myself here at DSPRobotic's.
I just bought a used laptop to be dedicated as my developer \ self education machine, and
on the laptop FlowStone was installed. I thought it was mal-ware and googled it. Then I found
FlowStone and FlowPaw and drooled as my son did with me.
I am Cody more about me is at http://www.oebelsoft.com my home page and self-learning engineering hobby site.
My son Raiden Oebel is 8years old. He built his website at http://www.RaidenScience.com and wants to learn more
about robotics and using FlowStone and FlowPaw.

I will be communicating with a number of you as I learn and he learns. I will be making my FlowStone purchase
not long after the Trial period. I'm estatic to learn and master the various features of FlowStone and Embedded
Electronics that interface with Razberri Pi, FlowPaw, and the likes. In my heart, soul, and passion for learning more
and more I believe everyone of you here on this forum made a great decision in life with flowstone and flowpaw.
I hope to be a audience to the journey in life this science product (FlowStone\FlowPaw) takes human beings into the future. This whole package is just ... GENIUS !

Thanks ahead of time to everyone who will be answering the questions I will be asking and needing help with.

OK, today is day 1 of my 7 day trial period using flowstone. I have made much progress thanks to the basic's intro video provided on youtube, and ran into some issues. For my first project on Day 1 of the trial. I challenge myself to learn enough flowstone to develop an SCP modified DS4 (Playstation 4 Dual Shock 4) program that verifies the mappings of the controller as work-around on my Windows10 system. I'm confident by the end of today I will have everyone here an operational work-around for their PS4 DS4 controller to work with FlowStone. I have a working system already that's a spin-off of SCP .. the concept is to wirelessly use a playstation 4 controller via BLUETOOTH and make this work and be detected in flow-stone. Check back later* Meanwhile I have created my challenge page on my website for tracking purposes. By the end of my 7day trial my self-challenge is to develop a product, product website, and custom software for my electronics product all using flow-stone and some store bought electronics. ;) Just wait-n-see !

Note to self:
I haven't drawn Bezier line's in programming before *following along basics video. *googling Beziers as it's a pretty nasty line draw that I want to further understand. It seems to simply be two lines in one that produces curve like drawings in the display-window.
@now - I am reading this before continuing. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/B%C3%A9zier_curve

I side tracked the last half hour on the video link below via youtube as the wiki for bezier curves was not all that clear to me. This video made things a bit easier. I then re-visted the four points\parameters in the flow-stone ruby display window portion of the "Basics Tutorial" Carl Owen's was teaching.

I'd just like to mention that the voice author in the DSP Robotics video has a calm relaxing intelligent voice that reminds me of "Bob Ross" painting videos I watched as a kid. Total happiness and humble vibes that penetrates the mind with education and excitement to learn complex subject matter!
