Any word on a 64 bit version ?
Re: Any word on a 64 bit version ?
a few things go thru my mind now, why we don't hear a single thing about any ideas or progress on requested/promised implementations:
1. the product is dead
2. the product is selling better on other points (robotics, automation etc)
3. the vst market is dead or saturated
4. arrogance
5. ignorance
Just another idea:
Maybe there is a completely new product under development. lets say: Crowstone
This product presents synth making abilities, robotics development, media stuff implanting, some new
bla bla features, but supports 64bit+cross platform. It will be announced as "Flowstone"s successor
or "big brother" and will cost... lets say... 600$ ? +300 per update ? according to this company's nowadays
attitude, it sounds very rational. To say the truth, i'm ready to "swallow this toad" and pay.
Just wish something would happen already. And yes, I think "Ruby" should leave or get reinforced with
another (more stable, more understandable and easier to use) tool\ language with top midi abilities.

Re: Any word on a 64 bit version ?
Tester imagine people here seeing a customer called "tester" that is going to elaborate a new "state teology" for defending the undefensible, like Romantic phylosophists or Sophists... What people will read here? what the emotions? what the sense?.. Who is?
"Much has been said about SynthMaker slipping behind in terms of specific audio technologies. Clearly this is something we have to rectify. In FlowStone 3 we will begin that process and upgrade plugin export to VST2.4. So VST2.4 will be in the FlowStone 3 release. After the release the very next thing we will be looking at is 64bit. Once these two issues have been addressed we will be right back up to date with the technologies that most other plugin developers are using."

Im not talking about Synthedit or Jeff, im not talking about Max and Cyclyin'74... I am not a customer of these guys.
What Synthmakers people are now waiting is not a "new feature" but an upgrade that has been announced 2 years ago.
"the very next thing we will be looking at is 64bit" - This has been declared pretty two years ago.
I will not, and i hope other people will do the same, be quiet.
If these things won't come, just state it. So i can forgot Synthmaker and leave my hearth in peace.
Im in the part of people which see Flowstone as a professional product for development and it can be with some little more... It's near.
But seems that the community belive it much more than the company owners.........

Re: Any word on a 64 bit version ?
how long it took them to become stable x64 product
Synthedit is not fully out yet because jeff is working on cross-platform support. other than that, it's 64bit version was stable and mature product already.
these little emotional x64-whatever-else-crusades evoked by the same "priests" over and over again
No emotions here, but pure business thing. watch this scene on Eddie murpy's "Raw":
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=08c0BXTVpfs
The average client's psychology works just like that. they all want "Mcdonalds". nobody want's to hear about my
mother's meatloaf. and when my client tell me "where is my mcdonanls? i want mcdonalds! the other kids have mcdonalds!!!", my business gets hurt and i become upset. the more so, when my provider promised to provide me
"mcdonalds" 2 years a go.
You use FS "as it is right now", because you see the potential in it (and you know how to use it), and not because you have a wishful thinking on what it may maybe become
Wrong. i bought it because of both reasons. not only one. and their is no wishful thinking here. it has been promised.
2 years a go.
tester, you are cool forum member, but please, avoid of becoming one's mouth, unless you are his lawyer.
