Re: Any word on a 64 bit version ?
If more and more people start to heat such topics, then the forum is dead after a while. Tested.
No reason that the forum gonna drop death. Its only one subject of many others. We all post here interesting technical stuff (it's a great forum. really!!!) so there is a lot to share, learn and teach regardless this topic.
BUT... This topic is part of the business, as it has a direct impact on our sales. Unfortunately, no better way to describe it. I wish 64bit wouldn't have come to world. Who really needs it??? but the reality thought differently
I fight you if I'd like to get other important features first? Simple business calculation? I pointed many times. I don't care about x64. I want other features first.
This post has 4655 views and 14 pages of replies. I suggest you start a new topic with your own requests
and start fighting from there. It will be a great start. Then, you can check your ratings and count your supporters.
It's that simple. Democracy is genius invention. You should try it.

We just want what promised.
If flowstone is no more a vst environment just say that.
And stop being a lawyer.. Malc is able to reply to us, noone care your opinion.
Stop saying that what Malc should or not do, what he has to follow.. Are you in DSP robotics? Yes? No? Who you are?
I want responses from rdsp, not from a test account.

Re: Any word on a 64 bit version ?
No one really need 64 bit on music, but since thr reality isnt that, 64 bit support is required now. All daws now come with 64 bit, including fl studio and live.
People want use their 64 GB of ram. It make no sense but is a fact.
The life probably has no sense, but we are here. Is a fact.
Without 64 bit flowstone as VST development is dead. Dead because will be incompatible with reality, with systems.
No businnes without it for us, no vst businnes for rdsp. End of the story.
But 64,bit isn't not just required for compatibility... Can open new doors.
While VST 3 isn't required nowadays, 64 bit is.
We are not asking porting to Mac, just 64 bit plugin for no bridge and compatibility.
I believe is doable for rdsp.
And what malc stated, I read 64 bit has to be done when required.
Now is.

Re: Any word on a 64 bit version ?
How you would feel if your customers would try to push you that way, in public? I would close the forum on first place
Nobody here ever passed any of the forum's laws. and not because we afraid of somebody, but because we respect this place. but on the other hand, if one has legitimate criticism, he better say, or this place wouldn't be called a "forum" anymore, but "kremlin".
there are different ways of achieving things
And who said that "different" is the right way? you think someone in dspr cares about one person that nudge the developer's mail with a request? no. but when more than a half of the forum making a request, it's a different story.
If you have an idea how to expand FS beyond what it is right now - how would you convince (attract) the creators to follow your idea?
Are you kidding??? we pay money!!! do you think they care about something else?
tester, i believe you mean well, but sometimes you sound a little naive ( or maybe just want us to believe so?...)
