And guess what happened right after.
SM forum alive again - with 3 new nicknames and a lot of spam.
= tester smashing.
I don't think this was a coincidence.
well if you look at this forum how many spammers there are...
more spammers than any comment of the dev's. that's no good.

I'm moderating there, so I can observe correlations between moods here and attempts there.
SM forum is good for such sort of monitoring, because some may believe that it's dead.

how do you explain the correlation, because i don't understand it at all
do you think people of who post here are spamming there or were are you pointing at?
I would not understand such a thought, at least if you think so

It's simple. There are writers/users and watchers (and robots). Phrases and keywords drive robots (if google can translate things, do you think a robot can't try to estimate whether forum is vulnerable?), and moods drive bored or mentally unstable people (it is enough to have such one person with skills). The end result - things (associated by context and order of triggers) that happen at the same time.

Re: Any word on a 64 bit version ?
Bad moods here = more spam there = more work for me there?
Humans do like this: "Bad devs, they don't want to give us x64, they play dead and don't communicate, users are so sad because of this, let's kick the devs". And they kick users instead.
Robots do like this: keywords "product", "dead", "no longer developed" => check the vulnerability (spam) and try to create new traffic farm.
Using SM forum as such playground seems to be logical choice of action, because associated product is no longer developed, there is no new activity, so maybe the place is forgotten and open to attacks.
Spam is gentle expression. Years ago I witnessed several server hackings (things like - one day one party said something bad about other party, and next day they lost websites and other vital services). Don't ask me why people do this. Maybe it's a way of showing support and respect (fan-like behaviors)?

Re: Any word on a 64 bit version ?
The confirmation question in the last step of registration is so weak in FS forum, it is the main reason of spamming here in my point of view:
Every human spammer can simply answer it, create a fake account and start sharing spams. The moderator/admin of this forum must change this question to sth related to audio-synthesis which can not be answered by stupid spammers or google search. Then the admin must delete/ban all spammers accounts which lead us to a clean forum.
I should say that, the technical question may be hard to answer for customers who use FS only for Robotic stuff. But I think there is an option for multiple questions in phpBB control panel.
Although without supporting x64, speaking about this topic is useless ...
On our web site main menu, what is the second to last menu item?
This question is a means of identifying and preventing automated submissions.

Re: Any word on a 64 bit version ?
well....i think it is all a bit too far sought after....
After 24 pages of questions begging for just a few simple words like "Yes Don't Worry, we are working on it" or just say "the first 3 years it will not happen" does enough for many people here and they are lightened up again, allthough if the last phrase we be expressed, it is really done with FS so they will not say that.
But even if image-line is not sure, i would say they have some kind of contact with Outsim because they did integrate it before and maybe want to do again, then what about some reality? At least they would know if there is some progress?

I registered as a new user on SM forums yesterday and they have changed the question now. Now it's a hardcore technical question

I agree. No response means a lot of speculations and rumors. It would be a lot better if they confirmed it will never be a 64-bit version but a further developement of the 32-bit version than not responding at all. Then we at least will know that they are alive and that business goes on.
