Synthmaker Greatest Hits
Synthmaker Greatest Hits
Hi to all my fellow 'stoners.
I decided to occasionally upload schematics from the huge Synthmaker forum files I linked to before. Thanks to Youlean for providing the raw data from the old forum which is now gone forever.
These will be items I personally found interesting and maybe useful to others. Please add anything interesting you find there yourselves too.
I will have tested in Flowstone 3.08.1 in Windows 7 SP1.
I will minimise any modifications I make, for example I'll add a clipping module to the output and maybe add the odd label to an input etc. but nothing that alters the funcionality of the original. I may alter the schematic layout a little but only for cosmetic purposes.
If the author is detailed in the schematic I'll say so in the Topic posting.
EDIT 29.4.16: I received a request to put all the files that follow in this topic (the ones I uploaded myself) into one big zip to speed up downloading so I have and here it is:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/fhhcfzjklafrb ... e.zip?dl=0
Cheers

Triangle to Sawtooth Morphing
https://www.dropbox.com/s/e08pkyfdzaije ... d.zip?dl=0
This one does proper morphing (not cross-fading) between the 2 waveforms so tulamide might like this
It seems to use an arithmetic process for the indexing but I'm not too sure of the details. Sounds good though with a wide variation of harmonics.
Author unknown.

Biquad filter parameters with graphic display and x-y pad
Fascinating! Can someone tell me what to do with this? Looks like it might be useful, at least for experimentation...

Amazing piece of work from 2008.
A quick play with this beast produced some fascinating sounds...

That's a pretty smart gadget. You move the poles and zeros on the z-plane and it gives you the transfer function as an instant feedback. Way cool!

Grainshifter Pitch and Unison modules
https://www.dropbox.com/s/d9mjyft9fsrwp ... s.zip?dl=0
This has 2 modules using grainshifters to create Unison and Pitch Shift and sounds pretty good to me.
I've added a note to the schematic and loaded up a short violin sample to each so you can demo it out of the box.

Frequency sweep with graphs
This generates a repeating sweep of the audio frquency range, as soon as you select the ASIO out (can be loud so beware!).
I found some of the internal modules interesting.

Limiter
Very nice and easy to use limiter. Comes pre-loaded with a demo drum loop to play with. I found this very "musical" in terms of the range of effect produced.

Saturday Knobs
A nice knob selection, some at 4 different sizes. Why "Saturday"?
