DSP Engineer Hire (remote working)

Postby Disco_Steve » Wed Sep 25, 2013 2:57 pm

Hi guys.

Been a while since I've been in the flowstone and Synthmaker forums, because I've been growing my company, and things are looking extremely exciting.

We are looking to hire a DSP engineer. The job will be to work on improving and optimising the current algorithms, and then working on the next set of algorithms using C and assembler. Initial prototyping can be done in Synthmaker - that's what I do! I will support you in creating the algorithms but most of my time will be on business and customer developments, so you will need to be confident in your DSP skills. A maths degree or a physics degree (or computer science) will be extremely useful for you in the role. Your Ear skills need not be incredible as we are planning on hiring a 'golden ears' engineer. But if you have great ears - all the better :)

I look forward to hearing from you. :)

If you don't find someone else, feel free to contact me

Here is my checklist:
- DSP skills: good
- ears : 1 pair, good condition
- C : ok, have used it recently for microcontrollers
- C++ : haven't used it for a long time
- Objective C : just looked at it and puked
- Assembler : just a sub set
- english : bad
- degree : none
- Mac : installed Windows on it, so it's usable now
- iOS : my IPhone was downgraded to be just a phone and an alarm clock

For the programming stuff, I think as long as I can get a compiler set up to compile a project, I can work on it.

Hey man-
Perhaps u have ur FS bases covered, but I would love to pick up a couple of hours..
if u need help in FS.
Myco is better than me in all aspects of FS though.
I'm good with counters-
like recorders, wavetable synths and sequencers(stream and MIDI)

I am also a middling graphic designer,
one card I have up my sleeve is the proggy 3DS Max.
I can do moderately difficult renders.

If you think I am the man for some task-
hit me up and I will let u know if I can do it.

Good luck!
