Casio CZ waveforms?

Casio CZ waveforms?
Hi. Was wondering how i would go about to make the waveforms you find in the CZ line of synthesizers e.g SawSquare, DblSine and Reso waveforms. They are all based on Sine waves i believe, so a waveshaper would do the job i guess?

Casio used a method called "Phase Distortion Synthesis" for the CZ family. This video demonstrates the math behind it. Make sure to watch the follow-up video as well!

Hi, saw this post so thought I would post this. Three methods of "Phase Distortion" . The cool thing about the Heterodyne and Allpass methods is you can use and external sources for your input waveform.

I’ve attached the Casio patent for the technique.
I personally find it fascinating what was being achieved with the relatively limited digital electronics available back in the 80s.
