Re: FS crashes at start, reinstall doesn't help

I had this a while back:
Nothing made a difference until I tried creating a new User account. When logged into this new account Flowstone opened correctly.
I then copied all my stuff from the defective account to the new one and FS crashed again, from both accounts.
There were no files in the Recovery folder. I then renamed Flowstone and it worked. Then I experimented to try and find at what was actually wrong, by deleting/renaming folders etc.
The problem was in the Tags folder C:\Users\Rex\AppData\Roaming\FlowStone\Tags
I deleted tagbar.txt from the Tags folder and it worked. I then re-built this file tag by tag until all my tags were showing in Flowstone, which is now working fine and back to original status. Finally I deleted the new User account and it still works fine.
Update: I had been having intermittent odd behaviour in several programs, like Outlook duplicating my Inbox entries, stuff going missing or getting corrupt. No, not a hard drive failing (no errors when scanned) this was ultimately down to Intel Rapidstore software which I had installed when I upgraded recently to a Samsung 850 EVO SSD. This is bad software! I removed it and my PC has been sweet ever since.
