Welcome to the forum
Are you talking about animating the strings to vibrate on the GUI when played?
here is an old thing i was playing with a long time ago, it is a guitar GUI with vibrating strings, it is quite crudely built but it may give you some ideas! the strings are mapped up the keyboard in standard tuning and triggered with midi notes! you require audio running to see the vibration! the lfo controls the vibration.

the first dot is incorrect after 12 semitones from nut.
