syncing modules issue

I just encountered a problem, that right now is not big, but in the future will expand into much much larger one. Original schematic was created in older FS version. I copied and extracted only a fraction. These two modules, when synced - should have exact the same content location. However they are shifted, and this offset between them remains when moving things inside (copy/paste to new schematic did not helped). You can't sync parent modules if you make the same placement in both. Can someone confirm?

Why this is a problem? Well - having 100 modules like this one and upgrading them, if one day one of synced modules decides to go out of sync, then the whole sync structure will break. It happened in the past to me few times, and it's real pain to find what killed the synchronization and when. Sometimes even the side-by-side comparisons don't show the essence.

Cut the module which broke and sync paste it again.

Simple for now, but will not help in the future - if several synced modules are complex and will have presets with different names (or other string/float/int stuff with different values, which are ignored in syncing routine).

I understand your fears but in fact these kinds of drift off happen very rarely. And if it happens it's just one module which is broken most times. It happend to me (and i guess almost all others) several times before. It could become a problem if suddenly some wrong linking appears without any reason.
However if you cut and repaste the broken synced module the propertys for that module should be preserved.

My concerns are based on experiences from the past. My projects contain a lot of items. Each time when such thing happened - it took a lot of time to find where was the problem. Because the thing is. If you synced parent modules earlier, then syncing indicator may not disappear after such/similar damage. Desynced modules will just not re-sync again. It is FS issue that should be fixed. Best would be to have user based options what should be included within syncing routine, i.e. placement and wire bending and sizing, values and naming, etc.
