I would like to finish
http://www.dsprobotics.com/support/viewtopic.php?f=72&t=2665&p=13791#p13791 , alas being ill, getting ready to bring my mum home & some life changing events.
I am willing to give someone USD$50 to clean up the AutoCom module, everything is listed there, its 90% finished so it really just needs some polish.
More like a competition, there are conditions of entry;
1) You must have a Paypal registered address (no other payment option)
2) Submissions to be in English (the only language i understand)
3) Finalist to be chosen by me me & me & (maybe forum members)
4) Either the Comport module to be fully integrated or left as a separate module i.e.
All options of the com module to be present in the final module.
5) Don't PM me! I'll PM YOU!
Good Luck! & Post your entries here until 10th September 2014
*Edit , doubled it

Here, I did try to simplify it, but I don't know if it still works, because I have nothing to test it with.
I don't even really know what a COM-port is
And I don't want your money, I just want to help.

Auto-mated serial ports is one of the most searched items for programming with hardware interfaces.
The schematic already worked, i was trying to get people interested either by skinning the interface or making modifications i.e. single ruby component. A chance for people to get a better understanding.
Your schematic doesn't work at least it is a good effort none the less.
Since you are the only person to even try, pm me anytime you need or want the $50.
Sadly this post is closed for me.

Like your license agreement the wording was specific
until 10th September 2014
Up to & before is why it was abbreviated to until.
Yet there was 31 days until the 10th why wait to post such an idea.
While your schematic may or may not work there is no way of knowing without adequate files.
I have sold the intellectual property of "Flow Thingy" & lost interest in communicating with Outsim , therefore i believe Flowstones life-cycle to be diminishing rapidly.
Farewell.

In truth I read the post, just the day before and I just modified my module to make it public,
I use it for some time for many things.
Search for a device in the system in various ways (name, pnpid, etc.),
and then carry out the routines that you need based on the use, for example, the startup of the COM ports.
However, since you're not interested in it,
i place the module in a different section of the forum, so as to make it more visible.
However, do not afflict, the world is beautiful.

Where is the "afflict" i have caused?
Here is the post you removed, why ?
Can anyone link to the required dll for future users ?

The module works in DEMO mode, it makes you appear a message box every so often,
that reminds you that it is, therefore unusable on production.
However, since I put the hand over, I have implemented other functions, and post the new DEMO in the forum,
if anyone is interested, you can contact me in PM.
