Weighted RMS meter

Hey everyone,
I'm a complete noob to this but wanted to see if this would be something that could be whipped up quickly before diving in.
Essentially I'd like to build an RMS or Peak meter that is weighted. Instead of being consistent it would be cool to have it follow a -3db per octave scale or something similar so that its weighted according to pink noise etc. This way you could match up loudness on different scales.
I found this meter (attached) that would seem to cut the work load substantially. All I need to figure out now is how to adjust the curve.
Is something like this possible?
