One Question does anyone know how to record waveform Pro!

Im trying to record a waveform to wave. And then put it in AUdacity and cut out the wave i want. then load into code.
Problem is i dont know how to do this perfect.
Lets say we use 60 bpm. 1 waveform is 1 second or what it now was. How do i make it be the exactly same anyone who knows?
