Sounds in Cubase act weird. ADSR problems.

Hi all!
I'm playing around with the demo. My testsynth vst acts lil funny in Cubase. In a loop, the 1st note is just played correctly the 1st time you start the loop. When the loop starts over, this 1st note is not played correctly (ASDR). Is that kinda demo limitation or my problem with whatever wrong concept/settings?

Hi Cruba
I'm no expert but this sounds like a DAW/MIDI issue.
At the end of your MIDI loop you would need to make sure that all notes are off, otherwise the ADSR will sustain any sounding notes as the loop re-starts.
Maybe someone who has Cubase can offer more specific help...
Cheers

Do you have any sustain/hold pedal operation in your MIDI loops? We've reported a voice assignment bug to MyCo whereby sustain can sometimes lead to hung notes. This would only affect Flowstone of course and not any other VSTi.

UPDATE: Okok, I found out what happens, no solution, but it's cool to know what's going on:
My synth preset starts with 0 | 50% | %50 | 0 ASDR settings. Being a total amateur, this settings do no sound lol.
Cubase ignores the real ASDR settings. The FIRST note at start is the correctly played, wverything after that is nonsense and doesn't represent the real ASDR settings.
Another test: When A is adjusted to the max, the notes are playing like A is at null.
So it's all in all ASDR trouble, I guess cos I'm a bloody amateur. lol
