Post Title: Oscilloscope
Original Filename: scope new1.fsm
==========
This my *.fsm schematic modified version of same ...
The Storage Oscope w/additional files can be downloaded as a ZIP File from the following link:
https://www.inventorefx.com/_ifxfstone/stoscopefx.zip
==========
The Storage Oscope has the capability of
displaying an input waveform with these additional features:
Time Control:
Timeline speed is adjustable from 1 ms (10 Khz) to 1 sec (1 Hz) and includes a Fine Tuner.
Gain Control:
Gain is adjustable from 1x to 10x.
By pressing the "Store" button (red/blue led turns on and changes from red to blue) the waveform is stopped/stored temporarily in the oscope memory until the button is pressed again (turned off).
There are 3 modes of view:
1. Continuous (waveform is displayed 'live')
2. Trigger ve+ (voltage 'positive')... crosshairs will auto-select nearest cross-section V+ voltage reference point.
3. Trigger ve- (voltage 'negative') ... crosshairs will auto-select nearest cross-section V- voltage reference point.
NOTE:
In triggered modes crosshairs appear and can be adjusted. red/blue LED will light intermittently.
When the "Store" button is pressed it will remain on (blue).
Pre-Trigger adjusts 'Timeline' position of vertical crosshair (along horizontal axis).
Trigger adjusts the 'Gain' position of horizontal dotted-crosshair (along the vertical axis).
Footnote: Description of electronic terms ve+ & ve-
ve+(voltage 'positive' with respects to V+ 'ground' reference point)
ve-(voltage 'negative' with respects to V- 'ground' reference point)
... these are the 'starting positions' for the trigger activated crosshairs.
've' is a simple shorthand (last 2 alphabetical letters) version of either term positive or negative and refers to ground.
+ or - is simply the 'polarity' term.
