Flowdrive still on "pre-order"

Postby mdc2011 » Wed Mar 07, 2012 1:36 pm

Hello,

I see that the Flowdrive has been on your website as "pre-order" for some considerable time.

When will the Flowdrive be available to buy?

Thank you

Yes we left it on pre-order as we had the FlowDrive working perfectly with FS V1 but had some new issues with FS V2.

We are currently building a completely new image to work with FlowStone V2 and hope to having working and tested in a month or so.

Could the Flowdrive be combined with an embedded system containing an asynchronous USB Stick Audio input up to 192kHz/384kHz with decent DAC and analog stereo out? Any advice for building an embedded audio FX unit like that?

I've tested it at 96Khz with a USB audio devive, and I would expect that you would run out of CPU power pretty quickly if you went any faster.

For what you are thinking of you would be better with a bigger mini ITX dual core embedded system.
