copying/moving files problem.

For general discussion related FlowStone

copying/moving files problem.

Postby tester » Sat Aug 23, 2014 4:09 pm

Under Win8, to move (not copy, move) multiple files between folders (according to list of filenames), I use exec prim with cmd execution, like in attachement. Now - the problem is - while exec prim indicates, that command was executed, some files are not being copied. I don't know what the problem is, maybe these are just too long filenames (and symbols that are accepted under raw windows, but don't work with cmd?), but instead of having 15 000 files on destination I have just about 10 000.

So my question. Any alternatices to use with Flowstone? Or - any external software, capable of dealing with such copy/move batch processings? I can't change filenames, because these are indexed elsewhere.
