VST effects & midi learn
Hi,
Implementing easy-to-use midi learn feature for vst effect seems to be a kinda challenge. Generally, DAWs out there don't support midi in for vst effects so once you try to develop something that related to live performance, you have a problem. I had an idea to add a midi in manager to my vst effects which can allow external midi-in connection, out of the DAW's environment, for easy midi learning, but that might be a problem as well because when some DAWs take control over midi equipment, it can not be used externally as well.
Any suggestion?
