which version of Ruby?
Hello,
Will someone please explain which versions of Ruby are supported in Flowstone. Is there a current recommended version?
Thanks,
Ian

Re: which version of Ruby?
as far as i can remember it is version 1.91 of Ruby, which has been updated several times since it was integrated with Flowstone, I cant speak about the Ruby in the latest beta versions of flowstone though as my support (a full year of nothing) ended 2 days before the beta releases

Hi Jay,
This is why Flowstone should have lifetime updates like Fl Studio.
Have a great New Year, BobF.....

Thanks,
I am new to Ruby as well as FlowStone. Was looking on RPL website for documentation and saw all of the different versions available.

Hey BobF
Thank you! yes i agree 100% about the lifetime updates, this is the reason Flowstone lies dead in the water inho, but they (outsim) would not listen to the user base! you should have been here when it was something, the forum was booming with really great DSP guys and creators, but, alas they all left and ditched Synthmaker as they felt they were being ripped off by the DSPRobotics then "new" business model
add that to the statement we got back then, that the app will most likely never include 64bit development due to them having to rewrite it from the ground up, it was the final nails in the coffin for most! I think myself and MyCo are the only original members still here and i only pop in on occasion to see if anything has moved forward as i am mostly into arduino, Arm and pic development these days! been learning C & C++ over the last couple of years!
I was incredibly disheartened to find out i could not have the beta releases after paying money for nothing 2 years in a trot so i moved on, thinking of trying Juice now!
All the very best to you and your family when the new year comes your way! Happy New Year m8!
