Artigo A1100 and flowstone
I want to use an Artigo A1100 with Flowstone, with Windows XP or 7. Is this possible? Not too interested in Flowdrive due to the price, but I'm very interested in the same end result. How could I do this on the cheap?

Re: Artigo A1100 and flowstone
The problem isn't the hardware, there are literally 100's of mini ITX type PC's that would work well with FlowStone. You could just buy the Fit PC directly as they suggest and put XP on it.
The problem is Windows Embedded!
1st you have to be authorised to develop with Windows Embedded. Then you need to buy the starter kit and 10 licences which cost around $1500 USD. Then there is the work, it takes about one month to learn, and then around one month to develop a single WES image for just one motherboard. Change the board and you have to start again! So it's not so simple which, is why I guess the FlowDrive cost's what it does as it's all done for you, tested and working!
I Know all of this because I've done it for my 8ch Analyser with a mini ITX Mobo!
If you buy a Mini or Micro ITX you can always put XP on it and set FlowStone up as the Shell (Instead of Explorer - FYI Explorer is Windows! No explorer no windows ). This will boot directly into your FS app. but still load a lot of the standard components, so it will still take a couple of mins to boot, instead of the WES boot time of around 10's.
