HIGH QUALITY FREQUENCY ANALYZER

Hdy guys, i searched but couldn't find any nice spectrum frequency analyzers, i want to tweak one and make an ultra high definition one, can anyone tell me where to start of give me a nice osm to learn from? Thanks and take it easy my flowstone brothers and ......

For long time - 16kpts was the max resolution. Right now - theoretically it is 32kpts and in some domains it works. But if you look for 65kpts or 128kpts or 512kpts - then you have the same problem as I do. :-)
