Bytebeat in Flowstone
Hello everyone!
This is my first post on a specific subject so go easy on me
Been fiddling with bytebeat lately and I'm very fascinated by the whole concept of "sound/music from very short programs" (more of expressions). From all my research on the subject, I don't see why it wouldn't be possible in Flowstone. Here is some basic info and apps for those new to the subject:
Intro to bytebeat
http://canonical.org/~kragen/bytebeat/
Story behind bytebeat with many links to resources.
http://countercomplex.blogspot.hr/
bb in HTML5 Lower your volume or mute for this one
https://greggman.com/downloads/examples/html5bytebeat/html5bytebeat.html
Ideally Bare Numeric Impression giZmo (bytebeat VM for window)
http://pelulamu.net/ibniz/
http://pelulamu.net/ibniz/ibniz-1_18.exe (zip with exe)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aKMrBaXJvMs (IBNIZ yt demo)
bytebeat in x86 assembler
https://www.noisebridge.net/wiki/Bytebeat
Bytebeat version of "Focus", made by DoubleyouDashM (Wiebe-Marten Wijnja) http://www.wmmusic.nl
https://github.com/Qqwy/ExtremeBytebeats (check out the "Live Version" as the link is too big to post)
BytebeatVST by nimaid
https://github.com/nimaid/BytebeatVST/tree/master/wdl-ol/IPlugExamples/BytebeatVST
There are many resources online regarding bytebeat but I think I covered the essentials.
Managed to do it in PD with the aid of a tutorial https://youtu.be/6OrtZRGHr_M.

So, I'm wondering how to implement it in Flowstone with DSP Code and/or assembler components.
Its really fascinating stuff and making it work in Flowstone would be quite a project. Anyone is welcome to contribute or start their own bb project. Would love to see oscillators based on this concept
Cheers.
