Tronic, that's a very cool Kickstarter project! Applications that make use of all 4 cores (so sadly Flowstone is out of the race) would actually be at least as fast or faster than on my pc.

And if I may go wild: Dedicated to one synth, this hardware would be the heart of a hardware synth (just put the computer, midi controller and a small display all in one case)

And for the robotics among us, it should be a wet dream, right?

There's also this device. I have one of these and I think it's amazing. Not tried FS on it though...

Currently less than £100

The special feature is that it also has an Arduino already integrated, so with this we do everything, even your midi controller

Here a similar project that has already reached the fund,
then for next year it is hoped that this will result in a massive increase in Flowstoners community.

Jeez, everyone's at it

I'm sure there's a market for one of these types of board in a MIDI keyboard with a touch screen. It's a pity that Android isn't much good for fast audio/MIDI apps because the OS is perfect for touch control, so I guess it would be Windows for first choice. A keyboard & trackpad would work but not ideal for a musical instrument.
We would also need an ASIO driver for the sound though, and this isn't always thought about by the chip makers for cheap boards. Failing that, ASIO4ALL may work...

Exciting times.

Cheers
