Re: Wiki
Wiki's are nice, up to the point where editors lose focus & becomes a free4all, opinions clash, servers change, attacks/spam are prevalent.
You can't beat the knowledge-base, portable copy of help that generally comes with every program you have
Every good kb has a beginner, intermediate & advanced section (normally).

Re: Wiki
It's a domain problem. The .TK domain seems to works bad.
I mailed Malc to ask if i can grab synthmaker.net, since my old domain has been taken by godaddy.
My idea was to have a KB with different sections, and may different levels of access. For example to allow to view some articles only for a particular group of user... It means something like registered user forum @ SM.
The difficulty level is something cool, but usually something done by the softwares houses. Since it's a community ruled wiki, everyone can post everything he wants that is useful.
This because i do not belive someone would like to make a new user manual for FS.

Re: Wiki
I was thinking of writing a manual, i could only cover basic topics as that is my current level.
I wouldn't mind writing a basic manual, it's just knowing what subjects are intermediary & which are expert.
My understanding is simple linking = beginner, ruby (basic) + basic maths = intermediate & ruby (advanced) / algorithms , asm = advanced.
I would not cover layout as this is what the user guide is (a summary) of all things & concentrate more on workflow, i would however do a breakdown of the components (much needed IMO).
It is easier to scrutinise a book from many readers, it's quite the opposite to scrutinise many pages from many editors.
Simplicity is often the best approach ?

Re: Wiki
Ok now i fixed the website, but it's offline for you.
I want to make it not only related to flowstone, and talking also about other dev. tools/frameworks since it's really difficult to say something about flowstone future.
I removed some social parts to keep it simple. A forum, A downloads section, the marketplace and a wiki and a chat in FB like style.
I just need to tweak a little then i'll open the site.
