Wow Martin,
You have out done yourself, this is really nice. Really clean and great sounding. If possible can a formant shift be added to this design of vocoder? Are we going to get an fsm for this one?
Keep up the great work, BobF.....

DigiTonix, sorry about that. There are some new controls, and some of the previous controls have gone. I found it difficult to adapt the GUI to these changes. And frankly, I wanted something brighter, more vivid.
Bob, thank you for your kind words. Take a look at my post here, there is a schematic and formant shifting there.

Re: La Voz Cantante: a 512 Channel Vocoder
Martin, I finally just got to try this and the sound is excellent so many thanks.
I’m also very impressed with your user guide; very professional looking.
As always, I go out of my way to try to find issues, as I’m sure you know by now.
So here they are:
1) I couldn’t get your routing scheme to work in Reaper. The MIDI responded but I simply couldn’t get the microphone signal or an audio recording to register on the plugin. Finally, in desperation, I loaded the old test rpp I made for my BlueSky vocoder and replaced the plugin with yours and it worked.
The routing for this is:
2) I couldn’t turn the Compressor or Noise gate off. The blue border went grey but the controls were still active.
3) If I spoke in a deep voice I just heard a whispered version so I had to speak in a higher register than my natural wonderful deep and chocolate tones.
I’m sure these will all be easy fixes for you and I hope you don’t mind me mentioning the points.
Cheers
Spogg

The routing for this is:
- • Track 1 VOZ with MIDI keyboard as input. VOZ loaded as regular FX and not input FX.
• Track 2 Microphone as input.
• VOZ: Master send ON. Receive from Microphone 1-2 to 1-2.
• Microphone: Master send OFF. Send to VOZ 1-2 to 1-2 Post fader.
• Both tracks had Recording armed and monitoring turned ON. I could then “play my voice”.

Everything is OK, you should not apologize for this ...
I'm just kidding.

Unfortunately, I can’t listen to this, because I’m such a trahapop who ruined his computer 4 times a month already ....

I noticed that big changes are coming, and I am happy for myself, and for you all (* ≧ ω ≦ *)
I have long ago discovered that all the downloads on your site do not work for the flоwguru, I wonder what you are doing? ...
(I think you're hiding a bag of gold)

Re: La Voz Cantante: a 512 Channel Vocoder
Many thanks for all your comments. Thanks Spogg for thorough testing!
2) Indeed, that was a bug. Was not so hard to fix.
3) That was a good test! Yes, your natural voice pitch was out of range for my voiced/unvoiced checker. I am still unsure how to best fix it.
1) Hm, strange. In my Reaper I can either insert the plugin in the vocals track and sidechain the MIDI or vice versa - both options work without problems. Maybe I should better explain it in the manual.

Re: La Voz Cantante: a 512 Channel Vocoder
I tested in Reaper v5.974 32 bit.
I couldn't see why your routing scheme didn't work for me. I tried a lot of alternatives, all with the VOZ set as an input effect. The thing that made the difference was using it as a regular effect instead.
If you would like to pursue this, you could send me a rpp file and I could load it and see if it works. All I would need to do is add the VOZ from my own path.
Cheers
