Impressive stuff!
I would be interested to hear the audio from the guitar, maybe on the left channel and the synth tracked version on the right channel. Or maybe one then the other...
Cheers

Hi nix,
VERY nice, but like Spogg said, it would be cool to hear the straight guitar track and then the synth track. Also a picture maybe of your guitar and setup would be cool too.
Keep them comming, BobF.....
P.S. , I added the smoothing filter to my new pitch tracker. No one seems to notice when you edit a post, it should reset it to new.

WOW!
That is really impressive. I wanted to hear how well the system tracked and it's great! You could do so much with that.
Great playing from you too; I'm envious.
Cheers

{blush}
I could get used to people saying things like that hehe
It was hard actually, I got practice in in the 6 takes.
I kept chopping back the highs in 2SYN as well, you almost have to use a pick to get the highest note over an open string.
On this mode, the MIDI note is slidable, so it tracks pretty sweet(not locked by an on trig). Harmonics are not locked out though,
and it's not possible to use release really.
Yeah, I jsut have to get any trace of squeals out of it, which I can't seem to bury-
they can only be mitigated with difficulty, also making the thing not want to play high notes.
I'm happy with the Cheetah, it took some sort of dirty MIDI really well.
Stoked!

Hi nix,
Really super, I love it. Now you just need to add the drums, and etc to make a complete instrumental.
Just making more work for you, ha ha. This has really come along very nicely since it's beginning.
Keep it going strong!
Later then, BobF.....

Yeah, I could track it out,
it's 120 bpm, if anyone else wants to.
I'll for sure make soo much music, if I can just stop having to tinker with the device.
Here are some old shots of my rig,
I'll take some new ones though. I have a tele hex pickup being built atm.

Re: 2SYN-hex MIDI guitar!+synth
I have updated again!
It now works better than all the audio demos.
I used a peaking biquad eq type filter to certainly play the highest fret.
All the strings now have the same response time- 56 ms for locked trig,
and 20ms for retrigging, both in MIDI.
I will carefully remake all the audio demos.
The hung note in bend mode seems to be fixed.
I have an idea of what I want to do with the logo.
I'm quite sure that it is working better than ever.
Enjoy 8D

Re: 2SYN-hex MIDI guitar!+synth
The top half of the fretboard is screwy, sorry.
I like this filter formation though-
u can push it around in many ways.
The gain and q on the eq is hard to figure out what the correct figure should be.
So- another update soon.
Cheers
