ROXY's Capacitor Demonstrator Redux
Hi Gang,
Here's my Flowstone Capacitor demonstrator, presented again, in case you missed it a few weeks ago.
Some real world electronics components can be emulated in Flowstone, this schematic demonstrates the filtering effects of one or two capacitors in series. Also included is Spogg's Perfect Diode, another clever emulation.
Since there is no 'electrical' "ground" in Flowstone capacitors can't be used in some traditional analogue circuits, but that doesn't mean they can't be emulated in series hookups.
If you've ever worked with 'O' scopes and mains power supplies, the traces should be immediately familiar to you.
You can select 'no capacitors', then select one or two capacitors in series and notice the compound filtering effect.
The effective "mFd's" can be adjusted by opening up the capacitor and horsing around with the 'attack' and 'release' values.
Enjoy !
