LA School Esquire Limiter
Hi all, worked late into the night making this beast. It's not a Beta; But a working example to learn from. I plan on making a final version and I think there could be some optimizing.
max 3% CPU, I believe it could go down to 1.8?
Here are the images (click for full):
EDIT: New version 1.3 posted.
Changelog (1.3)
+ Better Logo
+ Named Presets
Changelog (1.2)
+ Better math (Now Using Ruby);
+ Peak calculation using slide and line primitive
+ Rough solution for attack and release now applied

Re: LA School Esquire Limiter
Updated to 1.1; Changed the math so that the calculations are almost finite. I also removed some superfluous personal touches. This was made for a personal project.
(I'd removed some bass for asthetics, I may do the same but in a new way that is non-destructive).
BTW, I found a good reference in Ruby that allows these calculations for attack and release as follows:
(1-Math:E**(-1/(48000*250)));
And I wish to make a primitive derivative.
Please post a solution if You are aware of the translation. I will of course try to do that on My own otherwise.

Re: LA School Esquire Limiter
This limiter is now added to VST4Free, it was made in association with them officially.
Here's the link to that:

and here's the link to the flowstoners.com website's section with the schematic for You to download

Re: LA School Esquire Limiter
Here's a new track I made with this fancy new limiter:

And I updated it so it represents the final track.

Re: LA School Esquire Limiter
Hi all, so I have updated this limiter so that it now has a slightly nicer design (more memorable) and it uses less CPU.
Here is a link to the KVR post (click image below):

It sounds a bit nicer now, a bit like the bands 2 EQ; I avoid using the attack for bassy kick drum samples though. I'll be adding an optional HP for such dilemmas.
