wave recorder help

Postby cronk » Tue Apr 07, 2015 11:43 am

hi Flowstone users...
i'm new to this app' but really getting into it.

i'm very interested in the ability to record an incoming audio stream and to then manipulate it on the fly later...very much like a looper pedal.

i picked up Cytos' great little wavRecord module from -

http://www.synthmaker.co.uk/forum/viewt ... 66&start=0

...and it is perfect for my experiments...the only thing is that its mono...is there a stereo version (this is a call out to cyto if you out there). I notice that the mem mod has a bool mono/stereo buffer choice but it doesn't seem to produce a stereo wav on save. Am i missing something really obvious?

many thanks in advance

Hey Welcome cronk,

I downloaded the first file from cyto and it is set up to record in stereo. I checked the saved wave file and it is saved as stereo.

Maybe you have something set up wrong in your project?

many thanks for your reply Exo...

...and i think you're right. Like i said earlier, i'm new to this app' so it'll take a while until i'm confident about my designing/building abilities, though i must say that this app' is so promising!

As for my problem, i did a modification on Cytos' wavRecord mod by swapping the mono 'write' for a stereo one which did the trick...eeeh it's great when a nervous 'shot-in-the-dark' works! :)
