Anyone managed to create a step sequencer which syncs to midi ?

yeah- the timing isn't that bad,
it even spits out the ruby midi green conversion without audio discontinuities in a simple app.

If you want to sync to MIDI- maybe draw a bar long note,
and use that to start your sequence.
It will only wander for that bar length,
and host will determine that the sequence starts again.
Some hosts have pretty cruddy timing i.e. Usine is a little wonky-
but these slight errors really make no difference to musical creativity
