Waveform .txt files for wave draw osc
Hi
Just wondered if anyone has any pre-made waveform files (.txt) for the wave draw osc. Looking for accurate standard sine etc, noise and any useful exotic stuff.
Cheers!

You will find this useful: https://db.tt/aFM9d5VK
It's a waveform editor I once created to solve exactly that isssue. It wasn't programmed with Flowstone, so you need DirectX 9 (10 or 11 won't work), but that is no problem. You can safely install DX9 besides your existing higher DX version, it won't touch your existing DX at all.
It exports to .txt in various sizes (e.g. 256, 512, 1024, 2048) and you just need to create the waveform once to export to any of these. It saves in its own .wet format for later loading/editing.
It works by combining several standard waveforms (including noise) following mathematical rules. You can combine up to 5 waveforms for amazing results. For each waveform you don't want to use, just set its amplitude to 0. You can normalize and dc-correct. Some examples are included. Oh, and there's no audio, just visual editing. So you need to export and load it into your synth to check the sound.
Tip: Load default.wet to have an easy start creating your own waveforms.
Tip 2: You will always get the same noise until you change its seed. In-app help explains how.

Re: Waveform .txt files for wave draw osc
Thank you SO much for that!
The program is so much more than I could have wished for and I learnt it in about 5 minutes yet it's so powerful. I can't begin to imagine just how long it took you to write it. Worked first time in Windows 7 SP1 with whatever DirectX that comes with.
Already got my basic waveform files sorted.
I cannot believe how fast I got a response too.
OMG!!!

Also check the Synthmaker forums, there were several wave to wave table (txt format) converters listed there and I posted some free waveforms internet links, not sure if links are still good or not.

Also try the Blofield Wavetable creator software

Thank you and you're welcome
Regarding the speed I admit it was a coincidence. I read here one or two times per day and it was right after your question that I came to visit

Hey you guys inspired me to make my own quick and dirty wavemaker in Flowstone. Nothing fancy but it works!
