totally changeable fader with ruby

Postby Nubeat7 » Wed Nov 07, 2012 9:28 pm

here is a fader i did with ruby-code, my first steps with ruby :) , i just changed the stock fader, deleted the bitmap and put some rectangles instead (the FS guide helped me a lot with this), everything is changeable in the properities, the colours, the gradients, the fader shape... you also can change the size how you need ... i also commented all the grafik things inside the code ... maybe its useful for someone, and i think its also a good example to introduce into rubycoding... for me it was :)

Very nice!
I'll have a look.
Ruby is also new to me, it all looks very very promising.
As i have taken a look into the manual, possibilities are much more endless then before.
Great job to Malc and team!

Nice work NuBeat, that looks really cool, and very customisable.
Not got into this bit of the Ruby yet - boy, there are so many methods there to learn, but seems it will be a lot simpler than the old way with 100s of primitives.
All schematics/modules I post are free for all to use - but a credit is always polite!

Great work Nubeat!

Ruby offers an infinite variety of ways, especially for graphics (from what I've seen) in addition to a better MIDI timing, etc. That is why there should be a Graphics section. But I think there should be a separation between audio and robotics. Here I refer to examples.

Cheers!
