Advanced Midi to poly - Bug
I was working with the Advanced Midi to poly from the guru blog and i realized when you turn both 'mono' and 'porta' on, and set the number of voices to more than one and play some notes, it fails and silences the output.
One thing that i have changed is that Ive connected the number of layers to the number of voices in mono mode, so i could keep the unison. The problem occurs without this change too.
Any ideas why this is happening and how to fix it?
Here is the schematic:

To recreate the problem faster, try playing some notes and then turn the porta and then the mono on. Watch out for the crash hehe

It appears that you're right. So whats wrong with the Free Running mode? Is it the buffer?

It seems there is a triggering problem. When you run out of voices it still wants to trigger the phase in the memory it then goes crazy, thats why it only happens after a while.

So this is affecting the original Free running oscillators too?
I will take a look at this tomorrow, but if I don't get back too you give me a bump because I might forget (not using Flowstone these days).

Yes unfortunately after playing some notes stops working. Seems like it only happens in free mode.

No, the original free running project does not have this error because of my method we included to trigger the phase only until the max polyphony is reached. The poly porta project was missing that, hence it wants to trigger even when the voice maxes out and thats why it was bugging out.

I just tested it real quick, the previus problems is gone, but:
- Tried to switch between modes (mono, porta) FS crashes (3.0.5 here)
- I saw a #inf value on one of the phase start channels once.
- On the start up something gets wrong, have to turn mono on/off to get it to sound.
