What is this element's name?
Sorry, no quiz
Have a look at this image of knobs:
Besides a scale there's also an area that shows you the range from the start to the current value (for example the first knob in the first row, as well as the third. But how is this area called? What's the correct name for this element? It's such a minor thing (I need to name it on my own knob), but I can't stop thinking about it. What is it called? A "sweep" maybe?

Sweep is what I've seen it call.
