older thread I know ...

was wondering if any development on the idea of an 'Installer' ??

Even a 'simple' Installer that could copy a couple of files to a user defined place would be helpful.

Is this possible using FS ?

Winrar allows to create SFX installer like files as far I remember.

I did some checking on WinRAR ... have used it for years.

But I don't see a way that the user can select paths for the extracted files.

I particular ... extracting to a VST Folder ... not everyone has them in the same location. So this would need user intervention.

Or am I missing something ?

Hmm... I was using in the past something, that allowed to customize that part. I was sure that was winrar, but... now I'm starting to have thoughts. Either it was something in earlier version, or it was else software with rar capabilities?

RJ - have you tried to find something via google? I think that would be the easiest way. Like this one:

Just play with keywords of your ineterst.
