Phidgets SBC
The Phidgets SBC (Single Board Computer) basically allows multiple Phidgets to be connected over Ethernet.
In the latest version of FlowStone this feature has been added so that the standard Phidget Modules in FlowStone can also connect to the Phidgets via the SBC. The only change is to specify the Server ID and serial number of the Phidget you want to connect to.
Here is how to set it up:
1) Install the Phidgets Control Panel software on your PC.
2) Connect your SBC to the local network or directly to the PC (I would avoid using wireless at this stage!)
3) Open the Phidgets Control panel and click on the SBC tab:
Check that the SBC is found on your network?
4) Click on the WebService Tab: Then the Bonjour Tab
Check that you Phidgets have been found and that the WebService is RUNNING!
5) Note down the Server ID and the Serial numbers of your Phidget Devices.
6) Open the new FlowStone V1.1.5
7) Drag in your Phidget devices
8) Add the correct Server ID and Serial numbers for the Phidgets:
9) Send a Trigger Start to each module and check that the Phidget is ON using a Bool on the On output.
Done!
