New drum machine on its way: VSTplug Beat
Hi all, I was asked to make an update to the SFZ sampler so as to add some code I re-worked that saves a lot of CPU with a sampler model.
So, I think that will be a slow transitional process. So, in the meantime, I'd said to Spogg that I would come up with a new style of sampler for piano / guitar (linear instrument) / drum so that on key up it would chop off a longer sustained note sample. It will have an LFO to smooth the transition as well as included release.
Releasing Freq 2 . MReverb and maybe VSTplug beat on tuesday. Freq2 is almost done.
Drums are a bit simpler than a piano; so it's the obvious first step. It will have 808's, acoustic drums and the option to add new drumsets. It will look entirely commercial and will be released on VSTplug.com
This will be an open source project available at flowstoners.com.
If I have a beta that is not a schematic, I'll post it here, else I will post the link the schematic in the user examples in this post.
Peace.

Re: New drum machine on its way: VSTplug Beat
Hi all, here's some new stuff about VSTplug beat.
this is a preset file path that allows selecting a folder within presets. I thought it was more intuitive, especially being that I intend to use the making of cabs on the command line. This will allow de-compressing them and outputting the folder automatically. It's much easier to share a file online than to try and share a folder afterall.
In the case of folders, you can select them and that folder will be selected and the samples within them, there is also an automatic file count for each of the foders.
in the case of patches that have already been de-compressed/installed, they will be placed into a /installed folder in case the user wishes to export them later.
and here is as test of function that seems to work perfectly.
Drum machines and samplers at 1% with over 40 samples soon a reality!
Sampler source
here's an old sampler which I will source from:
https://vstplug.com/la%20sampler%20v11.fsm
This sampler uses Nubeat's keyboard using Ruby. I included the ability to map the keyboard and to display the relevant notes accordingly. Of course though, I'm having a few errors shifting octaves but that will change.

I'll have some soon and I promise the source will be totally open.
It uses like No CPU. It's exciting.

There could also be bandsplitted delays to make a mono signal even more exciting.
Hmm, yes; I'll be using the same pan technology I'm designing for the silverhawk; but in a way that is simple and fast.

More on this project in a few days.
I was focusing on a few necessaries and am getting back into it.

No demo yet, but there will be maybe in a week. tbh, I was catching up with westworld. I'd been developing full tilt and got back into some r&r.

Sounds like a really interesting project. I've tried your La Sampler v1.1 fsm file, but it instant-crash Flowstone 64-bit. Is it for the old version of Flowstone only?
