I changed from using steel to high tensile aluminum. and got really good results. i achieved stable control. Replacing other parts with other lightweight but strong materials. I believe with the updates i will perform. this robot will be fully functional.

Good to see you are progressing. BTW, do you need that additional pitch control on wrist ? Also, If you look at ABB welding robot, they have the wrist roll motor at the back of the arm. This will reduce the stress shoulder joint.

This company took a different approach to simple welding solutions, most of the welding jobs can be done with Cartesian robots.

I have started my own 6 axis robot arm. need software. looked at the flowbotics software but is for lynx motion. etc. any ideas how to make it work with the ServoCenter 4.1 Sequencer? if i can get the sequencer to use the lynx motion software i will have it made. any ideas how to do this.

New upper arm design a lot more efficient and better balanced. got rid of the timing belts. too much play. think we got a winner
