Yes indeed.
Especially when you think about modulating the incoming frequency with an envelope or something modulatey.

Finally finally, I made a LF version of this the other day. Which was in fact what I set out to do originally ..

It runs at hop(1024), or even slower if you want, so very little damage. Great for 'random-walkabout' type modulation. Can be run as poly instead of mono of course.

If you use more than one of these be sure to set different input frequencies, it's effectively a seed. If two are the same they will follow each other for ever, not what you'd really describe as random. Freq can be a pos or neg value.
