Putting Bob's VC Divider to questionable use (noisy synth)

Postby noisenerd » Fri Mar 04, 2016 4:17 am

Here's a noisy thing I made with squarewaves, BobF's VC Divider, and logic gates. It's inspired by Lunettas. It probably won't be everyone's cup of tea, as it's not much use for "musical" sounds.

Be careful, it can be loud and nasty. I recommend low volumes while playing around. Also, it is entirely possible to have a combination of settings that produces no sound at all... this isn't a bug, just a by-product of the way it works.

The most interesting stuff tends to happen when you hold a key (or keys) down and let it do its thing. The zip file includes the .fsm, a VSTi, and a text file and diagram to help understand how it works.

Enjoy.

Hello noisenerd,

Thanks for sharing! Does make some weird sounds alright. Kind of cool! Thanks for finding a use for my V.C. divider.

Keep the modules/schematics coming. Great work!

Later then, BobF.....
