Error In FS Component Reference

Postby Drnkhobo » Fri Nov 23, 2012 7:17 pm

Hey Support, Ive found an error in your String Extract example on page 421 in the component ref.

Your example says "If the string is 'Flowstone' then using a Pos of 5 and a Count of 4 you'd get 'Make'."

Wouldnt you get 'tone' ?

;)

Hmm, one for the crossword addicts out there...
A word of 9 letters or more - letters 6 through 9 spell "Make" - tricky - I'm sure I know it - it's on the tip of my tongue.
Begins with 'S' maybe?

He he, search and replace - one of the most fallible tools ever known to humankind. I'm sure it was invented as a clever ploy by the association of proof-readers to make sure that computers could never take away their livelihood!
All schematics/modules I post are free for all to use - but a credit is always polite!
Don't stagnate, mutate to create!

Aha - good spot. Yes, good old search and replace, guaranteed to make you look foolish at some time or another :)

Thanks, we'll get that corrected.
